Agreeing to these terms
These Terms of Membership and Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Planned Chaos LLC ("Planned Chaos," "we," "us"), a Tennessee company based in Nashville. They cover ourplannedchaos.com, the Planned Chaos membership, and everything inside it, including the Wedding Planning System course, the Wedding Conversation Guide, the Wedding Assistant, templates, tools, and downloads (together, our "services").
By buying a membership, creating an account, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.
Who can join
- You must be at least 18 years old and live in the United States.
- The information you give us, including billing details, must be accurate and kept up to date.
- Each membership is for one couple planning one wedding. You may share your access with your partner. You may not share it with anyone else.
Membership, billing, and automatic renewal
Automatic renewal
Your membership is a monthly subscription that renews automatically. We will charge the payment method on file the current monthly price on the same day each month (your "billing date") until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, as explained in section 4.
- Beta price. During the beta, the membership costs $19.99 a month plus any applicable tax. The price is shown at checkout before you pay.
- Price changes. The price is planned to rise to $29.99 a month after the official release. We'll email you at least 30 days before any price change applies to your membership. If you don't want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may pause or end your access until it's resolved.
- Payments are processed by Squarespace and its payment processors. Their terms also apply to your payment.
Cancellation
How cancellation works
- You can cancel at any time from your Planned Chaos member account, or by emailing ourplannedchaosmc@gmail.com.
- Your membership ends the day before your next billing date. You keep full access through the end of that day (11:59 p.m. Central Time). After that, your access ends.
- You will not be charged again after you cancel. To avoid the next charge, cancel before your next billing date.
For example, if your billing date is the 15th of each month and you cancel on March 3, you keep access through March 14, your membership ends at the end of March 14, and you are not charged on March 15.
When your membership ends, you lose access to the member area, the course, and the AI tools, and your Wedding Assistant data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy. Please download anything you want to keep before then. Your obligations under sections 6 to 8 and 14 to 19 continue after your membership ends.
Refunds
Because you get immediate access to all membership materials, payments are non-refundable, and we don't give refunds or credits for partial months or unused time. If you were charged in error, or after you cancelled, email us within 30 days and we'll make it right. This doesn't limit any refund rights you have under the law.
Who owns the Planned Chaos materials
Ownership
All content and products in the membership area are owned by Morgan Culpepper and Planned Chaos LLC.
This includes the Wedding Planning System course, its modules, lessons, and videos; the Wedding Conversation Guide and its questions, structure, and order; the Wedding Assistant and the Planned Chaos framework behind it; all templates, spreadsheets, checklists, budget tools, worksheets, prompts, scripts, and downloads; the names, logos, and branding; and the design, layout, and organization of all of it (together, the "Materials"). The Materials are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other laws.
Buying a membership gives you permission to use the Materials as described in section 7. It does not sell or transfer ownership of any of the Materials to you. We keep all rights not expressly given to you in these Terms.
How you may use the Materials
While your membership is active, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Materials for one purpose: planning your own wedding with your partner. You may make copies of templates and downloads for that purpose. You may share your own completed plans, budgets, and schedules with the people helping with your wedding, such as family and vendors.
No duplicate or look-alike products
Please read carefully
When you buy a membership, you agree that you will not create, or help anyone else create, a product or service that duplicates or looks like the Planned Chaos membership or any of the Materials. This applies while you are a member and after your membership ends.
Without our written permission, you may not, directly or through anyone else:
- Copy, reproduce, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from the Materials, except for your own wedding as allowed in section 7.
- Create, sell, license, give away, or publish any course, guide, question set, template, spreadsheet, planner, app, AI tool, chatbot, prompt, or other product or service that copies, closely imitates, or is substantially similar to the Materials, including their content, structure, sequence, organization, wording, or look and feel.
- Upload or feed the Materials, or the Wedding Assistant's or Conversation Guide's questions, instructions, or outputs, into any AI tool, model, or dataset to recreate, train, or build a similar product.
- Resell, rent, sublicense, or share the Materials or your access, including in groups, communities, or marketplaces.
- Remove or change any copyright, trademark, or ownership notice.
- Use the Planned Chaos name, logo, or branding, or any confusingly similar name or branding, for your own products or services.
This section does not stop you from planning weddings, using general wedding knowledge that is widely available, or offering products and services that you create independently without using or copying the Materials.
If you break this section, we may end your membership immediately without a refund and take legal action, including asking a court to order you to stop (an injunction) and seeking damages. You agree that breaking this section would cause Planned Chaos and Morgan harm that money alone could not fully fix.
Your account and access
- Keep your login details and any member pass private. You're responsible for activity under your account.
- Don't share your login or member pass with anyone other than your partner.
- Tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
Our AI planning tools
- AI can be wrong. The Wedding Assistant and the Conversation Guide use artificial intelligence. Their replies, summaries, and plans may be incomplete or inaccurate. Check anything important, such as dates, prices, contracts, and vendor details, before you rely on it.
- The Conversation Guide is not saved. Planned Chaos does not save your Conversation Guide conversation or results, and we cannot recover them. Download or email your results before you leave. We're not responsible for results that are lost because they weren't saved.
- Fair use and limits. The tools have usage limits to keep them available for everyone. Don't try to get around those limits, the U.S.-only restriction, or our security measures, or try to make the tools reveal their instructions or framework.
- Availability. The tools are available only in the United States. We may change, pause, or retire a tool at any time.
- Your outputs. You may use the plans and summaries the tools create for you to plan your own wedding, subject to section 8.
Planning help, not professional advice
Planned Chaos gives planning structure, education, and tools. We are not your wedding planner or coordinator, and we don't book, manage, or vouch for vendors. Nothing in our services is legal, financial, tax, medical, or mental health advice. Please talk to a qualified professional about those topics. You're responsible for your own decisions, contracts, budgets, and vendor choices.
Six-month consultation
After six months of continuous paid membership, Morgan will contact you to arrange one individual 20-minute consultation about one specific question or issue. It must be scheduled at a mutually convenient time and used while your membership is active. It has no cash value, can't be transferred, and isn't owed if your membership ends before you become eligible. Separately booked consulting sessions, such as a Power Hour or Checkpoint Session, may have their own terms shown when you book.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you write, type, or say in our services ("your content"). You give us permission to process your content only to provide the services to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Don't submit content that is unlawful or that you don't have the right to share.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or anyone else's rights while using our services.
- Scrape, crawl, download in bulk, or copy the services by automated means.
- Try to hack, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to our services or systems.
- Use a VPN or other method to get around the U.S.-only restriction.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse Morgan, our team, or other members.
Other companies' tools
Some Materials work with other companies' products, such as Google Sheets or Google Docs, and our services rely on providers such as Squarespace, Anthropic, Cloudflare, and Resend. Their own terms apply to your use of their products. We're not responsible for other companies' products, websites, or services.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access, without a refund, if you break these Terms, especially sections 8, 9, or 14, or if we need to for legal or security reasons. We may also stop offering the membership. If we stop offering it for reasons other than your breach, we'll give you reasonable notice and won't charge you again.
Disclaimers
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that they will produce any particular result for your wedding.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Planned Chaos LLC and Morgan Culpepper will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or vendor, venue, or event costs, arising from or related to our services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services will not be more than the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
Some states don't allow certain limits on liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
Responsibility for claims
If someone brings a claim against Planned Chaos LLC or Morgan because you broke these Terms, including section 8, or misused our services, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, including reasonable attorneys' fees, to the extent the law allows.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee and applicable U.S. federal law. If you have a concern, please email us first. Most issues can be solved quickly that way. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, either of us may bring the dispute in the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee, or in small claims court where you live. Nothing here stops us from asking any court to stop someone from infringing our intellectual property or breaking section 8.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date. For significant changes, we'll email members at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep your membership after that date, you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
General
These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about our services. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies, and the unenforceable part will be enforced as fully as the law allows. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later. You can't transfer your membership or these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer them as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
